Political Leadership Conference

December 15-16, 1977

The Political Leadership Conference brought together a small group of researchers to discuss public reactions to political leadership. It was held primarily to develop new measures for voters' perceptions and evaluations of political leaders. Voter schema, theories behind candidate appeal, and the influence of the expanding role of media on voter perception were all issues regarded with particular importance.
