DATA NOTE:
1994 study data are 'enhanced' with variables from the 1992 PrePost study
file and from the 1993 Pilot file; the 1992  and 1993 variables are coded
Inap for 1994  fresh' cross-section cases.  NESstat codebook features--
viewing, searching, and codebook extraction (subsetting)--are only available
for the 1994 Post variables; documentation for the 'enhanced' variables is 
not available using these features.

DESIGN FEATURES:
759 respondents were first interviewed in 1992. The remaining 1036 are part
of a freshly drawn cross-section sample. 635 panel respondents were also
interviewed in 1993. The 1795 cases constitute a nationally representative
cross-section sample.
