ANES Announcement: CDF Update and more
Dear American National Election Studies (ANES) User Community,
We have several announcements to share with you:
ANES Cumulative Data File release
A new release of the ANES Cumulative Data File is now available for download from the Data Center on the ANES website. Over 200 variables have been updated to include data from the ANES 2024 Time Series Study, and additional corrections have been made.
The ANES Bibliography has surpassed 10,000 citations! The Bibliography contains decades of research citations for journal articles, book chapters, media mentions, reports, and conference presentations that make use of ANES data. This is a rich resource for students, teachers, researchers, journalists, and more. Is your citation missing? You can submit it at the top right of the ANES Bibliography page!
ANES 2024 Time Series Study: Question-Level Timings
A new dataset of Question Timings is now available for download from the ANES 2024 Time Series Study page in the Data Center on the ANES website. Each row in the dataset represents an interview from the 2024 data collection. Each column (other than the case identifier) corresponds to the elapsed time for a specific survey question for that interview.
ANES User Survey Reminder
The ANES Board, with input from the ANES Principal Investigators, developed a survey to assess how well ANES surveys meet your needs and to identify areas for improvement. We want to know if you use ANES data, how you use it, or why you don’t. The findings will inform long-term planning on the ANES. If you have not already done so, we invite you to take the survey.
Have a wonderful day!
